1. Who we are
Every Thing Right HR is a trading name of Fraser Reading, a sole trader and CIPD Level 7 qualified HR consultant. Our address is 203 West Street, Fareham, Hampshire, PO16 0EN. You can reach us at hello@everythingright.co.uk.
These terms cover everything on everythingright.co.uk. Part A applies to everyone. Part B applies if you buy as a consumer, and Part C if you buy for a business. Where a service has its own page or quote, that page or quote forms part of these terms.
2. Part A: general guidance, not advice
Our calculators, documents and guides give general information about UK employment rules. They aren't legal, tax or financial advice about your own situation, and using them doesn't make us your adviser.
Figures are estimates based on the answers you give and the rates in force on the date shown. Your employer may use different facts, or your contract may give you more. Check anything important before you rely on it, and take advice from Acas, Citizens Advice, a solicitor or another qualified adviser if you need it.
We don't act for anyone in a dispute, negotiate on anyone's behalf, or assess whether someone has a claim.
3. Part A: using the site
- The calculators are free. What you type into them stays on your device and isn't sent to us.
- Please don't misuse the site: no attempts to break its security, scrape it at scale or copy its content to run a competing service.
- Documents you buy are for your own use, or your organisation's own use. You can share them with the people they concern and their advisers.
- We aim to keep the site running and the rates up to date, but we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. If you spot something wrong, tell us and we'll fix it.

5. Part A: Agree it in writing
Agree it in writing is a tool that lets an employee and an employer set out and agree the arrangements for a departure. Each person writes their own words. We don't advise either side, act for anyone, or say whether any term is fair or what route to take.
- In protected mode, the discussion is labelled without prejudice and subject to section 111A of the Employment Rights Act 1996. Whether that protection applies is decided by law, not by the label. It can be lost through improper behaviour, and section 111A doesn't cover discrimination, whistleblowing or other automatically unfair reasons.
- The agreed terms are a record of what you both agreed. They aren't a settlement agreement. Giving up legal claims needs a settlement agreement signed after the employee has had independent advice, or an Acas COT3.
- The documents offered at the end are starting points with your terms filled in. They aren't legal advice and should be checked by the people using them.
- Tribunal time limits keep running while you use it, usually 6 months.
- What you write is encrypted with a key we don't hold. If both of you lose your links, we can't recover the agreement.
- Agreements are deleted 90 days after they close, or 180 days after they go quiet. Download what you need before then.
- Please keep it factual and respectful. We may close an agreement used to harass or threaten anyone.
Starting, inviting and agreeing are free. Once everything is agreed, one payment of £49.99, normally made by the employer, unlocks the agreed terms and the finishing documents for both people. The documents are made straight away, so the payment isn't refundable once they're unlocked, unless something went wrong on our side.
6. Part A: mediation referrals
Mediation is delivered by an independent, CMC-accredited mediation partner, not by Every Thing Right HR. When you ask about mediation, we pass your enquiry to our partner, who agrees the arrangements and fee with you directly. Your contract for mediation is with our partner.
We receive a referral fee of 20% of the mediation fee from our partner. This doesn't change the price you pay, and our partner's mediators remain independent of us and of both parties.
7. Part A: the letters service
Every Letter Right is quoted in writing for each exercise. The quote sets out the number of letters, the price, what you'll provide and the timetable. You're responsible for the accuracy of the data and wording you approve. We produce the letters; your organisation remains the employer and decides what to send.
8. Part B: if you buy as a consumer
Our documents are digital content made straight away. Before you pay, we'll ask you to agree to the download starting immediately and to confirm you understand that you then lose your 14-day right to cancel. This doesn't affect your other rights.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If something we supplied is wrong because of an error on our side, tell us and we'll fix it, or refund you if we can't.
We're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for loss that wasn't foreseeable, or for business losses if you use a consumer product for business purposes. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
9. Part C: if you buy for a business
Plans, bulk runs and the letters service are for businesses. If you buy for a business, you confirm you have authority to do so.
- Plans run for a year from purchase and renew unless you cancel. We'll remind you 30 days before renewal. You can cancel at any time, and access runs to the end of the year you've paid for.
- A paid bulk run covers up to the number of people paid for, on the device you paid on, for 7 days, so you can correct a file and run it again.
- Outputs support your decisions. Your organisation remains responsible for the decisions it makes and the advice it takes.
- Our total liability to a business under or in connection with these terms in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.
- We're not liable to a business for loss of profit, revenue, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
- Nothing limits liability that can't be limited by law.
10. Partner listings
Partner listings are for businesses. By listing, you confirm you buy for your business and have authority to do so.
- A listing costs £49 a month or £490 a year, plus VAT if applicable. It renews until you cancel, which you can do at any time from your listing page, and it keeps showing until the end of the period you've paid for. No refunds for part periods.
- Before a listing goes live we check SRA and FCA numbers on the public registers, check the firm on Companies House where it's a company, and read the profile. Other memberships are shown as you give them, and you confirm they're accurate. We can decline a listing, or ask for changes. If we can't list you at all, we cancel the subscription and refund in full.
- We decide where listings appear and in what order. Listings rotate, and nobody can pay to rank higher. We don't promise any number of views, clicks or enquiries.
- You're responsible for your listing being accurate and lawful, for keeping your regulator status current, and for the service you give anyone who contacts you. We're not a party to that relationship.
- We can remove a listing straight away if it's misleading, if your regulator status changes, or if people tell us you've let them down and it isn't put right. If we remove it for any other reason, we refund the unused part of the period.
- Every listing is labelled as a partner listing paid for with a flat fee. We never pass on anyone's details, and we don't charge per enquiry, lead or case.
11. Changes, complaints and the law
We may update these terms, for example when the law or our services change. The version on this page when you buy applies to that purchase.
If you're unhappy with anything, email hello@everythingright.co.uk and we'll reply within 2 working days. See also our privacy notice and help page.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you're a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
