The same rules for both sides
Employees and employers use the same calculators and see the same working. If two people disagree about a figure, they can compare it line by line.
Show the working
Every result explains how it was reached, with the rates and dates used. Nothing is a black box, so anyone can check it.
Neutral, never a party
We don't act for either side in a dispute or tell anyone what to accept. The tools help people agree; advice stays with advisers.
Your data stays yours
Calculator answers never leave your device. What's written in Agree it in writing is encrypted so only the two people involved can read it.
How the figures are checked
- Statutory rates come from GOV.UK and legislation, kept in one rates table with the date each rate applies from.
- Every calculator is tested against worked examples, and the tests run on every change.
- Rates are updated each April, and each result and PDF records the rates version it used.
- If we get a figure wrong, we fix it, refund anyone affected and tell them.
